Mirror Method
One method which sometimes stops the pain is called the âmirror methodâ. In this method, a mirror is placed near the body which reflects an image of the other, present limb back to the person in the position of the missing limb. When the person sees the reflection of the present limb where the missing limb should be, it often convinces the brain that the missing limb has returned, so the pain stops!
